Of course, Curt was the bad guy in the situation, really. I always intended it that way. There's animosity here, but it's Curt that raised the bar. It was actually probably pretty generous of Dick and his family to not press charges. However, Curt is one of those stubborn people who has trouble admitting that he is in the wrong. I prefer that sort of gray are to black and white, right and wrong dramatic conflict. And in his defense, Dick is obnoxious and not really a very good person, as we'll see more in depth later.
