Christopher Stewart was born on the East Coast to a drug addict father and his teenage girlfriend. Gifted with remarkable intelligence, he never-the-less became something of an underachiever, content to do well in school without excelling.

Well spoken and blessed with a wry self-confidence, Chip drifted into theater, where his charisma and personable attitude found him a niche. Coasting through high school and college along with Curt Hawk, Chip watched the downward spiral of his friend, unable to act until it was too late.

With Curt’s final, terrible act, Chip gave up the last of his conviction and surrendered himself to the self-destruction he’d kept at bay his entire life. Feeling as if he’d seen the best of humanity fight and lose, he turned his back on the intellectualism that had been his wall against the chaos in his life, sinking into alcohol and drug abuse. A shell of his former self, Chip wandered through life aimlessly, until finding himself enlisted in the army following a night of drinking.

Currently stationed in Iraq, Chip has had self preservation shaken back into him. Without easy access to drugs or liquor, his sharpness of thought has returned and he’s found his desire to remain alive was stronger than he’d thought.

Chip is loyal to a fault, warm and personable. Always one to lighten the mood with wry humor, he interacts with others with a wink and a nod to go with his sad smile.
