Dick and Curt's history actually dates back to the second and third season...the "prehistory" of the strip. I'll try to explain things without becoming overly expository in the next strip. But these characters know each other and have a definate history. I tried to draw Dick with a similar character model to Curt's, I wanted him to be a sort of opposite. The black and red eyes, while I thought they'd look cool, may not be working. That may change, we'll see. It's a little much, maybe. With this strip, we see that, post reset, Jess has evolved in a different direction. She's maybe a little more "popular girl" again, less issues with weight gain and depression. This is one of the things I want to explore with the reset is how characters would have evolved differently had Curt not killed himself. Anyway, I hope I can live up to the ideas I have.
