With these next three strips, I wanted to write in the means for a reboot if I ever wanted to; say in the unlikely event I am picked up by a publisher, I could sort of start over without completely disregarding my years of strips beforehand. This isn't to say that there are plans for a reboot, I just want to establish a means here.
I actually really like the background here. Of course the stars are just little dots (I was going to be more elaborate but am so obscenely lazy...) but the clouds in particular look good. Of course, I can't remember how I did them because I was just experimenting around, but they turned out very nice. I hope to be able to duplicate the effect when I need to later. This strip got me a "sci-fi" classification on one of the webcomic listings. I guess there will be some sci-fi stuff coming up, but I wouldn't say the strip is predominantly sci-fi. I realize this kind of thing is off-putting to some readers who don't dig sci-fi and UFOs and all that crap, but there's a method to my madness here, so bear with me.
