2-12-10 I needed change. After 10 years of Downfall, I'm burned out. The false steps and mistakes I've written in have started to back me into a corner. In a lot of ways, the writing has been on autopilot and the strip has been a vehicle to experiment with my art. The idea, starting in March is to do more strongly written stories, in a page by page format, as a collection of short stories that make up a larger narrative, the first of which, Long Way Down, marks an excellent jumping on point, as it's a bit of a reboot, with a new direction, new cast and new feel.
