NEWS:3-11-10 I have switched webhosts in order to have less restriction on what I can and cannot do in the comic. I felt it was important to have a webhost that would allow me to do what I wanted to do...tell grown up stories about actual adults without having to worry about getting booted for language, nudity, dark humor, or any other content issues. The new homepage, www.downfallcomic.com, will serve as the main base for the "Falling Down" universe, with links to older strips and maybe even different strips shortly in the future. It's also a little easier to say and remember! This is a new start with a new cast, and new direction, and it's a great place to jump onboard! Head on over to www.downfallcomic.com, and as always, thanks for reading! 2-12-10 No, the bad links before season 7 are not all fixed yet. And by "not all fixed yet," I mean I have not worked on them at all. Honestly, stuff like this makes me wanna quit updating at all, but I'll get everything working again soon. In an effort to keep from wanting to break the hand I draw with, I think I am going to start doing three black and whites to one color comic strip a month. I know this is disappointing to those who visit the site week after week, but I just can't realistically maintain a weekly coloring schedule while working as much as I am in the "real world." 2-12-10 I needed change. After 10 years of Downfall, I'm burned out. The false steps and mistakes I've written in have started to back me into a corner. In a lot of ways, the writing has been on autopilot and the strip has been a vehicle to experiment with my art. The idea, starting in March is to do more strongly written stories, in a page by page format, as a collection of short stories that make up a larger narrative, the first of which, Long Way Down, marks an excellent jumping on point, as it's a bit of a reboot, with a new direction, new cast and new feel.
Thanks for reading, the craziness begins in March
